Wizkids’ rumored deal with Sony Music/RCA records clinching 7 figures
Mehn! Things just keep getting better for these guys! Wizkid's supernatural collaboration with Drake is no news anymore. Even his recent collaboration with his American girlfriend, Justine Skye has filled our ears already. What is indeed news is the fact that he will be joining DMW boss, Davido in the Sony Music Label. But even more, the mega news is that his advance payment clinches 7 figures in US Dollars! What???
In addition to what we had earlier told you about Wizkids’ career set to spring to a new level by reason of a possible deal with Sony Music's subsidiary label, RCA Records, the Nigerian international music act is close to penning down a 7-figure US Dollar deal. Details of the deal are yet to be confirmed by RCA Records at the moment. But an insider did well to whisper some details about the deal to the outside world.
Davido's Sony Music Deal put him ahead of his peers when it came his way, going by the figures his deal with the label was reported to clinch. But it seems like Wizzy's deal may dwarf that of Davido, along with Ayo Jay, who is also a proud Sony Music signee.
