I don’t think I can be with any woman who cannot cook jollof rice – Jidenna says
It has been said again oh! Where are the ladies? Come and hear oh! Controversies usually arise when subjects about what the qualities to look out for in a woman should be before considering walking down the aisle with her to be joined together in holy matrimony.
A renowned Nigerian clergyman even made the declaration that the cooking skills of a woman are essential to the marriage affair, and warned that a man should be careful not to take a woman with poor or no cooking skills as his wife. You know most Nigerian ladies nah… they don’t like to hear things like that. So they took it personally and bashed the man for weeks.
Now, an American based Nigerian musician has made bold to declare his stand on women and their cooking skills. Obviously, the matter of cooking cannot be swept under the carpet. The singer even went beyond the clergyman’s notion to be specific about the kind of food he requires a woman to know how to cook before he can be with her. I know that many ladies will say he is being too severe and strict with the matter. But hey, that’s what he wants.
Anyway, Jidenna had this to say on one of this social media platforms. In his words: “I Don’t Think I Could Be With Any Woman Who Can’t Run A Business And Cook Jollof Rice.” What do you think about this saying of his?
